BLT Frisée Salad

Previously, there was always something about a salad that didn’t sit well with me. I was never a big salad person in general. And when I did eat salads, I’d usually associate it with “diet” food because I would revert to salads when I wanted to loose weight.
Take out the notion of, “I’ll just make this salad as bland as possible (ie: no dressing, non fat, all water based veggies), which ultimately made me miserable. Now I load up my salad with foods I like, grains, nuts, sweet potatoes, carbs, full fat dressing, or make my own yummy dressing and actually ENJOY my salad! Have fun with it, and don’t over think it!
Ingredients:
- Frisée
- Benevolent Bacon @sweetearthfoods
- Avocado
- Edamame
- Feta
- Cherry Tomatoes
Dressing
- Vegan Thousand Island @followyourheart
- Jalapeño/ Pomegranate Jam @arnettfarms mixed with balsamic
